ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
Andy Fiore (born November 29, 1965) is a Victoria- based award winning filmmaker. He is best known for his independent documentaries featuring the poor, addicted and often mentally ill citizens of the Downtown Eastside - one of Vancouver's oldest neighbourhoods, notorious for violence, sex trade, and open drug use. Andy has survived, anoxic brain injury, homelessness, incarceration and schizophrenia. Today Andy is employed as a support worker for survivors of traumatic brain injury.
